The Center for Media and Information Literacy was established in 2011 at Temple University as a hub for activity involving media literacy and information literacy locally, nationally, and internationally. The CMIL is a “global chair” of media and information literacy appointed by UNESCO and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations.

Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC)

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), according to which the two organizations will implement actions in the fields of research, academic education and monitoring of all developments in the journalistic profession.

In an announcement, CyBC states that with the Department of Journalism and Mass Media as the connecting link and Professor of Journalism and Mass Media, Nikos Panagiotidis as the pioneer, the two organizations will implement actions in the fields of research, academic education and monitoring of all developments in the journalistic profession.
