The conversation “Programming the Digital World” is organized by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Greece and Cyprus and it the first of its kind in Greece, while it is aiming to cause a broader public discussion about the development frame and the function of modern technologies, among others, and artificial intelligence. Issues of the function of democratic institutions will be discussed and the role of various institutional factors and interested parts will be analysed. The theme of this discussion is based on the recently published book of Dr. Phitsili, “Imposing regulation on advanced algorithms” (Springer,2019), about the regulatory adjustment of advanced algorithms.
