Webinar Announcement: “Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment”

The world is confronted with a major global pandemic, impacting all facets of society and the economy. This webinar will evaluate how the global pandemic is highlighting and magnifying inequalities and posing a threat to women’s employment, livelihoods, and their mental and physical wellbeing. Speakers from across the world will discuss the resources and efforts to respond to these growing inequalities and advance gender quality.

This webinar will include practical advice for promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment by exploring examples and cases from various countries and discussing the issues and concerns of the implications of COVID19. A Q&A portion will follow and give the audience an opportunity to engage.
