Jean Monnet Chair

Jean Monnet Chairs, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, are interactive teaching and research programmes f which aim at excellence in the field of European Integration.This Chair is the only European academic chair devoted to the study and research of European Integration Journalism, understood as an academic and professional area that explores and covers political, economic and social issues explicitly from a ‘European’ rather than a ‘local’ and ‘national’ perspective.


United Nations Academic Impact

The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is an initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in supporting and contributing to the realization of United Nations goals and mandates, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution. Since 2010, UNAI has created a vibrant and diverse network of students, academics, scientists, researchers, think tanks, institutions of higher education, continuing education and educational associations. There are over 1300 member institutions in more than 130 countries that reach millions of people in the education and research sectors around the world. Since its inception some thirty international networks of universities and other institutes of higher education and research have endorsed UNAI and encouraged their members to join, representing a global diversity of regions and a thematic wealth of disciplines.


Multinational PSOs Training Center

The Multinational PSOs Training Center is a PfP Training Centre which has been recognized by NATO SG with the name «PfP Training Centre in Greece» since 2000. Additionally, it is recognized by UN and conducts the UN Military Observers’ Course. So far, MPSOTC has carried out a series of significant activities including both national and international courses, seminars and mobile training teams, as well. The training objectives comprise a varied spectrum of activities. However, the key training objective is to provide academic and field training (to National and Multinational personnel), which is in accordance with the most current internationally accepted standards (NATO, UN, EU, and OSCE).


European Federations of Journalists

The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) is the largest organisation of journalists in Europe, representing over 320,000 journalists in 72 journalists’ organisations across 45 countries. The EFJ was created in 1994 within the framework of the IFJ Constitution to represent the interests of journalists’ unions and associations and their journalists. It has established an independent legal status (number: 0503.985.472) as an international non-profit association (AISBL, association internationale sans but lucratif) since February 2013 according to the Belgian law. The EFJ fights for social and professional rights of journalists working in all sectors of the media across Europe through strong trade unions and associations. The EFJ promotes and defends the rights to freedom of expression and information as guaranteed by Article 10 of the European convention on human rights.


Incubator for Media Education and Development – iMEdD

iMEdD is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 with the exclusive donation of Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Its mission is to support and promote transparency, credibility, and independence in journalism on the grounds of securing meritocracy and excellence in the field. The organization is the outcome of acknowledging a worldwide crisis in journalism, manifested in lack of trust in traditional media and their “replacement” by social media. The danger in this trend is that as the journalistic crosscheck of information is lost, so is the reliability of journalists. Journalists who earn broad trust have the potential to inform society and empower individuals to create social change.


Digital Communication Network

Digital Communication Network is an international association connecting professionals of the digital age from a variety of backgrounds, in order to generate ideas, tools, and products for media outlets, civil society organizations, businesses, and public authorities. A Network of 5500 Professionals and more than 110 exchange alumni from over 30 countries in Europe & Central Asia. Activities: Cross-country and cross-sector projects within network, professional exchange programs in the region and the USA, camps, trainings, hackathons, networking events, developing digital tools, media products, and educational materials.


Norway in Greece – Royal Norwegian Embassy in Athens

About the Embassy– Diplomatic relations between Norway and Greece were established in 1918. The Ambassador in Athens is also accredited to Cyprus. Norwegian Ambassador to Greece and Cyprus is Frode Overland Andersen.
